7 Best Business Credit Monitoring Services

1. FairFigure

Are you looking for a business credit monitoring service that helps you track and build credit? If so, FairFigure is going to be your top pick.

The free Basic plan doesn’t help you build business credit. However, you would get your full Creditsafe business credit report and business credit score.

You’d be hard-pressed to find this elsewhere aside from FairFigure business credit monitoring.

The paid Premium plan is only going to set you back $35 a month. This adds monitoring for your Dun & Bradstreet business credit report and business credit score, as well as your Equifax business credit report and business credit score.

The Premium service plan offers more than just business credit reports and credit scores.

Premium also unlocks access to a tradeline that reports to multiple business credit bureaus. With Premium, you also take advantage of additional FairFigure tools. This includes Unify, their business credit corrector tool, and Signal, for dark web monitoring.

If funding and business credit are a primary concern, it’s worth looking into the FairFigure Lift Card. This will give you revenue-based funding to bolster your cash flow and an additional tradeline without a personal credit check.

2. Creditsafe

If you’ve been looking into business credit bureaus and business credit monitoring services, you’ve heard of Creditsafe.

Where Creditsafe differs from other business credit monitoring services on this list is that it’s not limited to just helping you track your business credit; you can track others as well.

For example, keeping an eye on your customers' or competitors’ business credit and financial health enables you to make strategic business decisions. Creditsafe makes that possible.

Through Creditsafe, you can stay on top of business credit scores and business credit reports with:

  • Real-time alerts for any changes (business credit score or business credit report changes, risk profile changes, payment history and behavior, and more).
  • Business credit monitoring for companies across 40+ countries.
  • Customized portfolios and notifications.
  • Automatic CRM updates using real-time risk and business data.
  • Intelligent business insights from credit score and business credit report data. Better understand credit risk or credit opportunities when they arise.
  • And more.

Creditsafe doesn’t openly list its pricing. You will likely need to reach out to get accurate pricing for your small business service.

3. Nav

Nav Prime has changed a bit, which is important to address immediately. For example, they no longer offer the Nav Credit Builder card. Still, their plans aren’t lacking if you’re trying to keep track of your small business credit.

Nav Prime offers four business credit monitoring service tiers. This includes:

  • Free: As the name suggests, you get basic business credit ranges for these business credit bureaus: D&B, Experian, and Equifax. Plus, you get a basic funding readiness snapshot and one personal credit score from Experian for free.
  • Track: Track is $39.99/month or $31.99/month billed quarterly. This upgrades you to six credit scores and report data from D&B, Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion, a funding readiness assessment, and exclusive discounts from lending partners.
  • Build: Build is $49.99/month or $39.99/month billed quarterly. You get everything from the previous tier plus automated bookkeeping tools. This service previously introduced the card, which is no longer available.
  • Expand: Expand is $74.99/month or $59.99/month billed quarterly. This introduces a Prime membership tradeline, one-on-one credit coaching, and the FICO SBSS score (can’t be found elsewhere).

Remember this for the following section. You get the same credit scores and business credit reports below with free and paid credit monitoring services.

4. Equifax

As stated above, Equifax’s business credit monitoring services are the same as Nav Prime.

Why?

Equifax partners with different credit companies to deliver the credit services you need. In the case of a one-time report, this is powered by eCredable (although eCredable isn’t necessarily going to give you the Business Credit Report Plus 2.0 and Equifax business credit scores).

Meanwhile, Nav is an approved Equifax reseller. When you go to sign up for business credit monitoring services through Equifax, you’ll be brought to the Nav Prime webpage. You’re getting the business credit report and credit score monitoring services that Nav Prime sells.

Equifax lists its business credit monitoring services as starting at $39.99/month. This makes it seem like you have to pay to get access to your business credit reports and scores. However, the free option still exists when you visit the Nav Prime website through Equifax.

5. eCredable

Are you looking for another business credit company that can help you build business credit while monitoring it? If so, eCredable is another great service option.

Monitoring business credit scores and reports is an inherent feature of eCredable. That being said, it doesn’t outright state which credit score or credit scores you will be able to monitor.

eCredable offers two plans: eCredable Business Lift and eCredable Business Lift+.

Business credit monitoring services are available with your subscription, but aren’t specified. Speaking to its features, here’s a breakdown by plan:

  • eCredable Business Lift ($19.95/Month): Service comes with reporting to D&B, Equifax, and Experian. You can report business credit cards to D&B, get vendor trade credit with D&B, and report utilities to Equifax, with up to 24-month payment history.
  • eCredable Business Lift+ ($39.95/Month): Everything above, plus accounting software sync for business insights, loan-readiness tracking, competitive benchmarking, and access to seven key financial ratios and metrics.

You can connect past and current accounts to help you build your business credit faster. Any small business currently lacking extensive credit history and high credit scores will find this service useful.

6. Dun and Bradstreet

Do you have a DUNS number? If not, now’s the time to get it and to potentially sign up for D&B Credit Insights.

D&B Credit Insights is Dun & Bradstreet’s business credit monitoring service. They have several subscription options to choose from, which will define your experience. Here’s a brief overview:

  • The Free Plan: This service plan offers basic business information, basic tracking across four scores and ratings, and new inquiry alerts. It’s a solid starting plan, but it won’t give you the top-tier business credit monitoring benefits.
  • The Basic Plan: Sitting at $49.99/month or $149/year, the Basic plan unlocks six business credit scores and ratings, more detailed business information, unlimited access to your business credit reports, dark web monitoring, and account connection abilities.
  • The Plus Plan: The Plus plan costs $149/month or $1,499/year. This gets you a few extra perks, including submissions of up to 12 regular term payments or financial statements and benchmarks for up to five U.S.-based companies.
  • The Premium Plan: The Premium plan costs $199/month or $1,999/year. This adds submissions for unlimited regular term payments or financial statements to build payment history, vendor credit tracking, and competitor credit tracking.

Arguably the most important business credit score from Dun & Bradstreet is the PAYDEX score. However, you’ll find that the other business credit scores offered in D&B Credit Insights can help you analyze risk more comprehensively. This is true for all business credit reporting agencies.

7. Experian

Experian Business Credit Advantage is Experian’s answer to the need for business credit monitoring services.

It’s a straightforward option if you’re looking to monitor your business credit score and business credit report: You pay $199/year, and you get access to your Experian business credit ranking score and online business credit report whenever and wherever you are.

Business Credit Advantage automatically tracks changes to your business credit file with three-month trend information. It also gives you email alerts (such as fraud alerts) when continuous monitoring picks up any major credit score and credit profile changes or inquiries.

The good news? With Experian, you can actually see what you’re getting before you commit. They have a sample Business Credit Advantage report that gives you an idea of the business credit reports you’ll have access to annually.

With so many business credit monitoring services out there, it can be hard to figure out what’s best for your business. Make it easier by using one of these seven best business credit monitoring services.
