Unlike the personal business credit bureaus, each business credit reporting agency offers its own business credit scores. Equifax’s three most popular are the following:

- Equifax Payment Index Score: 0 to 99
- Equifax Business Credit Risk Score: 101 to 992
- Equifax Business Failure Score: 1,001 and 1,722

In each case, the higher your score, the better. For the Payment Index, the closer it is to zero, the better.

Meanwhile, the Credit Risk and Failure Risk Scores are sliding scales indicating the likelihood that your business defaults or goes under, with no objective cut-off for good credit.
