In the span of just three months, our study found that those in the real estate industry spent around $1.8 million.
Out of that $1.8 million, the spend breakdown for a real estate business owner looks like:
Real estate is actually one of the few industries where category-spend cards came close to giving similar rewards to flat-rate cards, largely because real estate spend aligns well with category rewards.
Still, category-spend cards fell short. Here’s what you can expect with some of the top cards:
The only card that could potentially be better than your top flat-rate card with 2% cash back is the Chase Ink Cash, but the 2.1% it could provide with telecom and gas cash back only applies to the first $25,000 of 5% spend, which then loses steam once you get 1% cash back.

The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash card is the best card for rewards for real estate business owners.
This business credit card is a flat-rate card that offers unlimited 2% cash back.
Let’s say that you’re spending around $10,000 a month on your business. At the end of the year, you could see $2,400 in cash back. That’s a sizable statement credit you might not see with category-spend cards.
There’s no annual fee with this business card, and there’s 0% introductory APR for 12 months. After that, you’ll receive a variable APR of 16.99% to 24.99%, depending on your personal credit.
Some additional perks of this business credit card include:
If you’re going to apply for any business credit card, this one is the best for rewards for your real estate business.

A bad personal credit score and credit history can get in the way of small business funding. Rather than settling for business credit cards with high fees or poor terms because of your bad personal credit score and credit history, consider the FairFigure Lift Card instead.
The FairFigure Lift Card is designed for the real estate agent with bad personal credit and poor credit history.
This is an EIN only small business card. What does this mean? It means that there’s no personal credit check and no personal guarantee. As a top EIN only business credit card alternative, you also do not have a required security deposit.
Instead, the FairFigure Lift Card only takes into consideration your revenue and time in business. Do you have at least three months in business? Are you generating at least $2,500 a month in revenue?
If so, you qualify! It’s one of the top options if you’re considering business credit cards with no personal credit check or startup business credit cards with no credit EIN only.
With this card, you’ll be able to:
If you’re looking for business credit card monitoring support and other tools, you can always sign up for FairFigure Premium at $35/month.
This will give you a second tradeline, which is reported to each credit bureau above (with the exception of D&B).

The U.S. Bank Triple Cash card is the best category-spend card. Most real estate agents will find that their spend aligns with their highest cash back categories.
The U.S. Bank Triple Cash card offers real estate agents 3% cash back on:
There are no caps like there are on other cards, which means you might actually be able to get more rewards out of this card than a flat-rate 2% card.
All other purchases are eligible for 1% cash back, also uncapped.
Other card benefits include:
The Chase Ink Business Cash card is a good pairing card to take advantage of its high rewards, up to the limit.
This business credit card offers 5% cash back on business essentials up to $25,000 in combined purchases per account anniversary year. This encompasses business expenses at office supply stores and on internet/cable/phone services.
Beyond that, every card member gets:

If you’re looking for the best business credit card that offers cash back rewards in the Amex ecosystem, the Amex Blue Business Cash business credit card is going to be the best choice for real estate business owners.
The Amex Blue Business Cash card offers 2% cash back on eligible purchases, up to $50,000 per calendar year. Then, you get unlimited 1% cash back thereafter. Your cash back is automatically applied as a statement credit to your account.
There’s a lot to like about this card beyond just the above. Your Amex Blue Business Cash business credit card also comes with:

If your primary focus with a business credit card is getting travel rewards, then the Amex Business Gold card is a top choice.
The Amex Business Gold Card offers 4x rewards points on your top two eligible spending categories, up to $150,000 per calendar year. So, if your top spend is gas and wireless, for example, you can rack up points easily and then use them to redeem travel rewards.
This business charge card also offers 3x points on flights and pre-paid hotels booked through AmexTravel.com. Every non-eligible purchase or purchases made past the rewards cap qualify for 1x rewards points.
The American Express Business Gold offers a host of rewards redemption options. If you’re using points beyond travel, you can use them at partners, such as Amazon or Best Buy. You can get an extra 200,000 points if you spend at least $15,000 within the first three months.
Here’s an overview of the Amex Business Gold beyond just rewards:

The Chase Ink Unlimited is a strong cash back card for real estate agents.
As the name suggests, the Chase Ink Unlimited business credit card offers unlimited 1.5% cash back on every business expense.
As with most Chase Ink Business Cards, this one comes with quite a few perks. These include:

Small business credit cards with high rewards for fuel make sense for agents always on the go. That’s why the Costco Anywhere Business card is our top recommendation for high-mileage agents.
Now, there are limits. The Costco Anywhere Business Card comes with 5% cash back on Costco gas and 4% on all other eligible gas and EV charging purchases. However, it’s limited to $7,000 combined per year. You get 1% on all other purchases thereafter.
Beyond that, the Costco Anywhere Business Card offers 3% cash back on restaurants and eligible travel and 2% cash back on all other Costco and Costco.com purchases. These cash back categories don’t come with restrictions.
There’s no annual fee, but this card does require you to have a Costco membership to qualify. The variable APR for this card is 18.99% to 26.99%.
The one thing to know about rewards is that reward redemption is rather limited. You only get your cash rewards in the form of an annual credit card reward certificate once your February billing statement closes.
To provide you with the above recommendations, we looked at the spend of 5,769 customers across 75 industries, which covered 506,801 transactions. This study was conducted between May 30, 2026, and August 25, 2026.
