This Cookies Policy explains how FairFigure Inc. (“FairFigure,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on fairfigure.com and other websites, dashboards, and online services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
This Cookies Policy forms part of our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy provides more information about how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information and explains the privacy rights that may be available to you.
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies can allow a website to recognize a browser or device, remember preferences, maintain a secure session, understand how visitors use the website, and support advertising.
We may also use similar technologies, including:
Pixels and web beacons, which can show whether a page, advertisement, or email was viewed or selected.
Local storage, which allows information to be stored locally within your browser or device.
Software development kits (“SDKs”), scripts, and tags, which support functionality, analytics, security, and advertising.
Session-replay and heatmap technologies, which help us understand interactions such as clicks, scrolling, navigation, and form activity.
In this Policy, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as “cookies.”
Cookies may be set by FairFigure directly (“first-party cookies”) or by another organization whose services we use (“third-party cookies”). Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a specified period or until you delete them.
These cookies are required for the Services to operate or to provide a feature you request. They may support:
Account registration, authentication, and secure login;
Session management and navigation;
Fraud prevention, security, and network management;
Payment and subscription processing;
Load balancing and website availability; and
Storage of privacy and cookie choices.
Because these cookies are necessary to provide the Services, they generally cannot be disabled through our cookie controls. You may be able to block them through your browser, but doing so may prevent parts of the Services from functioning.
Functional cookies remember choices and provide enhanced features. They may remember language, location, display, accessibility, or account preferences. If you disable these cookies, some personalized features may not work as intended.
Analytics and performance cookies help us understand how visitors use the Services, measure traffic, identify errors, evaluate feature performance, and improve usability. Information collected through these cookies may include IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring pages, links selected, session timing, navigation paths, and interaction data.
Analytics data may be linked to a browser, device, or account and may constitute personal information under applicable law. We do not describe analytics information as anonymous unless it has been processed so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual or household.
Advertising cookies help us measure campaigns, understand whether advertising led to a visit or action, limit repeated advertisements, and, where permitted, personalize advertising based on activity over time and across websites or services.
The disclosure of identifiers and internet activity to advertising partners may be considered a “sale,” “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or “targeted advertising” under certain U.S. state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Section 5 explains how to opt out.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the Services through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Depending on configuration and your choices, Microsoft Clarity may collect device, browser, network, page-view, click, scroll, navigation, and other interaction information using cookies and similar technologies.
We configure session-replay tools to avoid capturing sensitive fields where supported. You should not enter Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information into fields that do not specifically request that information.
We may also use Microsoft Advertising for advertising delivery, conversion measurement, campaign attribution, audience measurement, and related marketing purposes. Microsoft may process information under its Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Third-party providers may combine information collected through our Services with information collected through other websites or services, subject to their own privacy policies and your available choices.
We may use cookie information to:
Operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Services;
Authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access or fraud;
Remember settings and preferences;
Understand website traffic and how visitors interact with pages and features;
Diagnose errors and improve performance, accessibility, design, and content;
Measure communications, referrals, and advertising campaigns;
Deliver or personalize advertising where permitted; and
Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect rights and safety.
We may combine cookie information with account, transaction, support, or other information described in our Privacy Policy.
Where available, you can use the cookie banner or cookie-settings control on our website to accept, reject, or change choices for non-essential cookies. Your choice may be stored in a strictly necessary cookie.
Cookie choices are generally specific to the browser and device you use. If you clear cookies, use another browser or device, or browse in a private mode, you may need to make your selections again.
Most browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies. Consult your browser’s help documentation for instructions. Blocking all cookies may prevent login, security, preferences, payments, or other features from operating properly.
Browser controls may not block pixels, SDKs, local storage, or every similar technology. Device settings and provider-specific controls may offer additional choices.
Where required by applicable law, we process legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device that sends the signal.
Because a signal may not identify your FairFigure account, you may also need to submit an account-level request or enable the signal on each browser and device you use.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. You may exercise applicable rights through our website privacy controls or by:
Emailing support@fairfigure.com; or
Calling +1 (866) 593-6690.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Cookie duration depends on the cookie’s purpose, provider, and configuration. Session cookies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies may remain until their stated expiration date or until you delete them.
We retain information obtained through cookies only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and our Privacy Policy, including to operate the Services, maintain security, honor privacy choices, analyze performance, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Third-party providers determine the duration of cookies they control under their own policies.
The Services may link to or integrate with websites and services operated by other organizations. Their cookies and privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Cookies Policy. We encourage you to review those policies and available controls.
We may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in technology, our practices, the Services, or applicable law. We will post the updated version and revise the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
